“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” These wise words remind me of how important it is to reflect on the recent past in order to create new opportunities for the future.
I want to start out 2015 by reflecting on the meaningful events of 2014 here at King Media:
2014 began with a special King Media TV spot on the Super Bowl, featuring our Chief Security Officer, Ralphie King.
We conducted a brand refresh for one of Michigan’s premiere vineyards, Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant, with the redesign of the labels for their two best-selling wines, Classic Demi-Sec and Classic Demi-Red.
The Michigan DNR gave us dozens of exciting creative projects for the Michigan Parks and Recreation marketing efforts, including assignments for Belle Isle and many other new Detroit riverfront attractions.
King Media created and launched the Greater Lansing Housing Coalition’s ICE (Ingham, Clinton and Eaton counties) 5-Year Fair and Affordable Housing Plan. This multi-media campaign will touch every person and every business in our area as we lead new housing initiatives that address the needs the 5-year plan has identified.
New logo and brand development for several ventures filled our dockets, including Michigan Boat Week, Gerbel & Company, P.C., the DNR Outdoor Adventure Center, Macomb County, Ignite LED Consultants, and the House of Promise.
These projects, like all of 2014, were challenging, rewarding, and a lot of fun. We grew our clients’ business and, in turn, grew King Media. We started with a plan and worked through it all year long.
Our plan for 2015 is in place and we’ve started the year out strong. We’re looking to continue to grow, and we hope we can add your company or organization to our list of successes next year.
