It’s Game Time

The BIGGEST game in sports – the Super Bowl – happens this week, and millions of people around the country will watch and cheer their favorite team to victory. While attaining this lofty place for teams is a tribute to their dedication, training and perseverance, their enthusiasm for the game itself is what drives them to this moment.

“If you’re not fired with enthusiasm, you’ll be fired with enthusiasm.”
– Vince Lombardi, NFL coach, Pro Football Hall of Fame

My business was built on enthusiasm for building our clients’ businesses and helping them achieve their goals. In the advertising business, you have to live and breathe what your clients do for a living, because our clients’ success drives our success. We are passionate people who are focused, disciplined and relentlessly committed to achieving our objectives, just like the football team training for the big game.

“Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.”

The intensity displayed by football players seeking the ultimate in success is impressive. Successful people know that the drive to be successful does not come easily, and without putting in the sweat, it does not come at all. I’ve learned in my career that this is so true – partnering with clients who seek to affiliate with talented people share their passion and drive to succeed. Knowing where you want your business to go is important, and realizing what level of commitment is necessary to get there is critical. I lead by example and am fortunate to have people in my organization who bring their “A” game with them every day.

“The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual.”

The culture at King Media is one of collaboration, teamwork and keeping a constant eye on the clients’ objectives. We define our success based on our clients’ definition of it. We exceed their expectations to exceed our own. We strive for perfection – In everything we do and everything we represent. That’s what our clients choose us and stay with us for the long haul. With projects from more than 100 different businesses every year, we have at least that many of our own Super Bowls to shoot for annually. Thanks, Vince, for the inspiration.

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”
